Diff is available on the Atlassian Marketplace for Confluence Cloud. It gives a team a way to show the change itself inside the document that explains why the change matters.
That can be useful when a discussion reaches beyond a repository. A technical proposal may need to compare two configuration examples. A migration guide may show the old and new form of a request. A project note may need to explain a patch to people who are reading the surrounding documentation rather than reviewing a pull request.
The app has two main modes. In text comparison mode, you provide an original and a modified version of text or code. Diff displays their differences side by side. In patch mode, you paste the contents of a Git diff or patch file and show that existing change in a readable comparison. The patch view can also offer a download of the supplied patch.
The viewer follows Confluence’s light or dark appearance so the comparison belongs with the rest of the page. Configuration stays with the macro, keeping the content and its explanation in the same working context.
Diff is a focused tool. It does not need to replace a source-control workflow to be useful. Its role is to make a particular change easier to inspect and discuss where a team is already writing.
The Marketplace listing is the place to check current installation options, pricing and compatibility. For help from LN Software, include the comparison mode you used, what you expected to see and a small non-sensitive example when possible. Those details make a display or configuration problem much easier to understand.
