LN comes from Lena and Nina, the founder’s twin daughters. Two names became the name of a software company: a personal starting point for work that reaches beyond any single product.
That distinction matters. A product has a particular job to do. It serves a particular group of people and needs its own language, interface and priorities. The company behind it provides continuity: who built it, where to ask for help, and what else that team is working on.
This website gives that company a clearer home. It connects our product work, our open-source projects, and the conversations that may become something new. It also makes room for the reasoning behind the software. The journal is where we can explain a design choice, examine an engineering trade-off, or share a useful project update without forcing everything into a product announcement.
Our current focus spans property research with Biedbril, comparison tools for Confluence with Diff, and reusable tools for Go developers. These are different problems. What connects them is a preference for software with a clear purpose and enough detail to be useful in real work.
LN Software is also a place to begin a conversation. That might be a focused consultation, a project with a defined outcome, an open-source contribution, or an early discussion about building a business together. Each deserves a different kind of commitment, so we start by understanding the problem and the people involved.
The name will stay personal. The work should speak for itself: through products you can explore, code you can inspect, and explanations you can question.
